1. This works. Gave you a 4 star.
2. No idea about that "on mouse hover the agenda title as tooltip" point that has been made before, but its sensible
3. If we drag it out of the sidebar, give it more screen space
4. Some eye candy

Otherwise, this rocks!

BTW, the review form at M$ FAILS in firefox 3

can the widget conserve data when it isn't connected to the net instead of displaying "error"? maybe error can be indicated by an icon of some sort.

Well, generally I dont see why it would be important for an event manager sidebar displayer to manage the past (I think for those kind of things for which it is a good idea, it is better to use a todo manager like Remember The Milk or whatever) and in the case you really need to check the past for some reason, the Google web interface is always only a click away...

1. Thanks Smile
2. I think the flyout, which I implemented in the meanwhile, can be used instead of the tooltips. Moreover there are implementation problems with tooltips because the user need to click on the gadget first to catch hover events because of the embedded IE in the sidebar, except for the css hover stuff. I might be wrong cause I havent spent too much time for it but...
3. Hmmm considerable but why would you drag it out? Smile
4. Well, unfortunately it is close to my best coz I am really not a designer kind of guy. To be frank, I hate to moon about nice user interfaces Shocked

BTW yepp, that review form sucks and I must say it is a surprise even from M$ Smile

I have just implemented this, you will find it in next version.

The new version will be uploaded in a few days, and if you are using at least v1.1.2 you will be notified by the gadget about the new version automatically.

Wishlist for a 5 star rating :) Empty can i give you 10 stars?

Post  Aditya Thu Jan 08, 2009 7:45 pm

Hi,

Its been quite some time since i gave feedback. your gadget is simply awesome! I love the flyout feature. I love the create new event, but i had to refer google documentation for examples. if you could make this more user friendly - the actual command is very easy, but maybe if you could implement some sort of "fill in the blanks" with default values as examples, it would help newbies.

also, you could always make the forum link more prominent.(if you wanted more participation)

happy new year... i cant think of anything else which could possibly improve this great plugin.

regards
aditya

Yes, please, give me 10 stars Smile I think the gadget deserves more (at least at the current stage) than the 3 it has now Smile

I think I will add your new suggestions also - they will be in the "new version" I promised in my previous answer, though it seems I lied with that "few days" Smile

Wishlist for a 5 star rating :) Empty Tasks

Post  Piano28 Sat Aug 22, 2009 5:50 pm

It would be awesome if you could have the google calendar tasks on it. It would aleviate the need for entering to do lists more than once in multiple apps!!!! BTW, this app is awesome!

Unfortunately, integrating Google Calendar tasks is quite impossible at the moment, as Google has not published any API for handling tasks Sad

BTW, I recomment Remember the milk as todo manager, and my sidebar gadget for RTM Smile
