Some calendars not showing? Empty Some calendars not showing?

Just found the gadget and love it. But it only shows some of the other calendars that I have.

I guess I could understand if it didn't show any other calendars, only my own. But I have seven other calendars in my Google Calendar, and it shows two of them. The other five don't show up in my calendar list, even when i reload it.

Please login to Google Calendar in a browser, then go to the url http://www.google.com/calendar/feeds/default in the same browser window. The gadget is able to handle those calendars that you can see now in the browser.

If you see the same calendars like in the gadget settings, then Google Calendar API does not allow the gadget to handle the other calendars you have.

If you see more calendars than in the gadget settings, please go to gadget settings and click on "reload calendar list" then click cancel, then send the log file to me to ilab at windowslive.com. The log file is located c:\Users\[youruser]\AppData\Local\Temp\Google_Calendar_Agenda\debug.log

OK, I did that -- same calendars in the "default" list as in the gadget.

So why can't those other ones been seen in the gadget? Is there a limit number-wise? Is there some way that those other ones are set up that doesn't work with the gadget?

Thanks! Again, I love the gadget, I'm just a little bummed that some of my calendars don't show up in it.

To be frank, I have no idea. Google does not seem to document which calendars are published or not published in the Google API Shocked At least, I have not found anything about it.

Some calendars not showing? Empty feed delay by G.calendar?

Post  kentut Mon Oct 19, 2009 5:25 am

I had the same issue, but then I check again after a few weeks, and my other calendars are there now. And then, I modified some, and do "Reload calendar list" from the gadget, but it doesn't get the update.

I think it's Google Calendar feed updates. It does not update your calendar often. Try again tomorrow or after a few days, see if the feed is updated (through I'll check mine too.

Interesting...

However, I have just tried that I created a new calendar then reloaded my calendar list and it was there. Then I deleted it, and it did disappear on the next calendar reload. Of course, this does not mean that calendar info is not cached by Google somewhere else...
