I have the yellow error icon appearing, but when clicked, the error message is empty. This happens on both my netbook running Win7-x86 and desktop running Win7-x64.

Nah, the error message is empty because there is no error message Shocked

The following happens: on a data refresh request a 0 status code and an empty detail message with empty result data is returned, which should not be possible by my knowledge and I have not been able to "google" anything reasonable yet about what the heck happens. Anyway i'm trying.

Sometimes this happens for a while and goes away. It seems it has to do something with Google server side as several people experience this at the same time (me too).

Anyway, if there is an xmlhttp guru out there and knows something, don't hesitate to drop a note for me Smile

You could try to reauthenticate (click Logout then Login on settings panel). That seems helped me, at least.

Error: no error Empty Thanks

Post  jabelli Tue Feb 02, 2010 10:51 pm

Yes, that worked. I was sure I had done that already, but maybe not.

Is it supposed to be re-checking the gmail option every time I log out and back in? The sequence was actually log out and back in, see the 503 error, uncheck gmail, then get a successful refresh.

Yes, it seems to be rechecked, and that is not good.

Seems to have worked. I have a G1 and that was failing to sync yesterday as well so it seems like it was a server side problem.

I'm encountering the same problem on my Win7-x86, Win7-x64 & Vista systems. Problem started today. Logging out/back in did not help, nor did a restart.

Today's date is displayed at the top. However, the calendar events shown for today are yesterday's events, and 'tomorrow' is really today. I pulled up my google calendar and the data/entries are correct (versus me being confused!).

Any words of wisdom?

Please send me the logs as it is described in https://ilab.forumotion.net/faq-f8/can-t-find-the-solution-t161.htm, plus, please send me a screenshot of the gadget to see what is displayed.

I have just traced down the network communication of such a case and in my case the server returned a "401 token invalid" message, however, the gadget somehow received only a 0 status empty error message, which you see. Requesting a new token by logging out of the gadget and log in again helped. This must be caused by some Internet Explorer bug or something.

If logging out + in on the gadget does not help and you feel like hacking a bit, send an email to ilab at windowslive.com and I send you instructions on how to trace down what happens.

Note: log out + log in should be performed on the gadget, not windows!

Unchecking "check gmail" seems to have solved the problem for me.
