debug.log - 3mb and growing
I have Googler 1.2.2 - and was wondering if there was any way to suppress this log file from getting created - or logging activities? Trace is currently not checked.
Everything else is working great.

Yepp, it is not a bug, leastwise, it is the planned behaviour.
What is wrong with that log file? FYI, it won't use too much space because it is truncated at every gadget start.

Re: debug.log - 3mb and growing
Control Freak I guess. I didn't want to donate any space for this debug log - unless we were actually debugging together. No reason to take the cycle or do the i/o. It's certainly not a bug, but better controlled by the user / or an option in .ini file. I will continue to copy /dev/null to wipe this file until such an option is made available (should you want to) - unless you have another workaround. Reboots are performed rarely here - so your process is rarely restarted.

Okay, I'll find out whether I want this basic logging switched on even when no trace mode is set.
Until then, you could truncate the file to zero size and make it read only. Then, the gadget won't be able to write the file. Although, this way you spare only the space.

That is a one-time workaround that works better than my solution. Thanks !
