Internal Server Error / Internal Error Empty Internal Server Error / Internal Error

Post  PdProg Fri Feb 04, 2011 2:23 pm

Hi there! Great gadget. We use it on our kitchen computer for all the family calendars.
Recently, my wife's calendar started generating errors. I turned on trace and copied the following from the log. (I've modified the "T" parameter as I believe that is the google key to access the calendar.
Any thoughts?

Thanks,

-Pete

As the error message says, it is an error at Google server side. It is supposed to disappear as they fix it.

Internal Server Error / Internal Error Empty yeah, but...

Post  PdProg Fri Feb 04, 2011 7:04 pm

I fully agree that the error is occuring at the server. The question is, what is causing the server error? (i.e. what does the request look like?) I've got several apps using and managing my google account. (gSyncIt as an example) None of them are having a problem with this calendar. It is not intermittent, and it is only this one calendar. (out of 6 I am maintaining)
Any other thoughts?

Thanks,

-Pete

You said it started generating errors and this made me think that it worked before. If the gadget didn't change, then server side changed Wink

Anyway, if you send me the full trace log to balee at scippleron.com, I'll try to figure out.

Though, it seems from the log that the gadget is installed a bit weird as it is in the directory C:\Users\guestuser\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Sidebar\Gadgets\GoogleCalendar[1].gadget (note that [1]). In fact, it shouldn't be a problem, but you can try to uninstall, remove all directories under C:\Users\guestuser\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Sidebar\Gadgets which start with GoogleCalendar, also remove everything from c:\Users\guestuser\AppData\Local\Temp\Google_Calendar_Agenda , then install the gadget again.

thanks very much for your quick responses. the [1] was the result of my attempting to put another copy of the gadget on my desktop during testing.

However, embarrassingly, I was incorrect in my first statements about other products not having an issue. gSyncIt was in fact raising errors and had told it to continue anyway. This morning things began working again in both apps. Sorry to bother you with this.
