updating all the time

this is a regular event. It starts off fine and adding, deleting, editing etc all great but then when I'm not using it suddenly I notice it is updating and there is nothing to be done. I can't edit because it gives me the wrong event, can't add or delete. The only way around this seems to be restarting my machine.

My wife is using the gadget too, and loves it by the way, and she doesn't seem to be getting this trouble.

How can I kick the gadget, I've tried logging out and in and removing and adding but to no avail.

Please help, I love the tool too much now to be without it.
