"ERROR INTERNET CONNECTION RESET"

Hi,

I love I Forgot the Milk and have been using it for a while without any issues...until today. I have an active Internet connection however the gadget notified me my connection was down. I tried to add tasks and received the message "ERROR INTERNET CONNECTION RESET". I disabled my firewall, made sure I could still access the web, and tried again. No luck. I went ahead and deleted the settings in AppData/Local/Scippleron, uninstalled the gadget and then reinstalled. Now when I attempt to authenticate I again get the message ""ERROR INTERNET CONNECTION RESET." I put the trace file into AppData/Local/Temp and have pasted the output of the debug file below. Perhaps the RTM authentication server is just having issues and this isn't a I Forgot the Milk issue at all? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks for all your hard work.

having the same issue here... is something wrong with RTM?

here's my guess:

I forgot the milk tries to contact the remember the milk authorization server before syncing at any point (on first open, when adding tasks etc.) in the line:

When I forgot the milk can't connect to that address it then decides that the internet connection is down. Either remember the milk has changed how their authorization server works, or their api authorization server is down.

Assuming the latter I imagine we just need to wait for remember the milk to bring their authorization server back online. In the case of the former we need to wait for an I forgot the milk update that brings the gadget in line with the new api implementation.

Either way I look forward to the gadget working again, it is most wonderful.

I am having the same issue.

The gadget worked well until my internet disconnected for a bit. When internet came back on No remember the Milk gadget.

And how is it working after a reboot (or just restart the sidebar itself?)

I was still receiving the same error after restarting the sidebar and the computer. I just checked this morning and the widget is working again...yay.

Ehhh.
I should check next time I see this error whats going on.
It also occurs sometimes at my place but I never take it into account
