Installed v.1.0.7, does not work. v 1.0.6 does work

Hi,

I have successfully installed version 1.0.6 on a Windows 7 Home Premium PC (fully patched) without any issue. Tried to upgrade to v1.0.7 and I get the following message:

description: File already exists
Number: -2146828230
name: error

HELP!! I really want this to work as I love this app.

Do the following:

1. uninstall the gadget
2. remove the directory c:\Users\[yourosuser]\AppData\Local\Temp\I_Forgot_The_Milk
3. remove the directory c:\Users\[yourosuser]\AppData\Local\Scippleron\I_Forgot_The_Milk
4. install the gadget

I have deleted the directories, I only found the Scippleron directory, there was not on under the Temp folder. The application installs, but all I see are two red "X". There is nowhere to configure the gadget, but if I click on one of the red X's, it does take me to the RTM web site.

I really want this to work as I think it is a superb gadget, bu I am having no joy at the moment. :-(

1. You might need to reboot after uninstalling the gadget (the OS sometimes caches them or something like that)

2. You must have a directory c:\Users\[yourosuser]\AppData\Local\Temp\I_Forgot_The_Milk if you installed the gadget. Well, to be correct, it is %TEMP%\I_Forgot_The_Milk as %TEMP% can be overridden, check it in a command prompt by echo %TEMP%

Thank you so much! The %Temp% directory had been changed and the folder did not exist. I created it in the location %TEMP% stated, installed the gadget, and Hey Presto...it worked!
