Hiding long (several days) events?

Currently when there is a long (several days) event it is displayed as several events (one for each day). And when you hide this event it becomes hidden only for one specific day: it is still visible for all the other days. Don't you think is wrong and misleading? If this is one and only event and user explicitly hides it, the event should become invisible for all of the days...

Any comments?..
