it appears gadget is leaking handles. Monitor "process:sidebar:handle count" over time and every 5 minute you'll see a handle count will increase around 20 or so.

That's pretty serious issue. it'll guarantee system instability within couple of weeks (if you don't reboot your computer). I see this on 3 different machines and each of them leaked handles where count went to 15,000-20,000 which resulted in usuall windows painting issues and other abnormal behavior.
I would assume you don't set XMLHTTP object to null after each run which is known to leak handles.

Yepp, that needs to be fixed.

BTW, setting xhr object references to null was not enough, something is still eating handles. Anyway, I'll find out...

Update: an other gadget is turned out as the handle eater, so the leak seems to be fixed with xhr reference handling
