Update frequency? Empty Update frequency?

When does the list of events get updated? I added an event to my calendar and the event has not appeared in the gadget even after a few hours. I think it should update at least every 15 minutes.

Theoretically the list is updated in every five minutes.

If you go to the options and cancel out it forces an update.

And the list is also refreshed for example after a quick add event on the gadget UI.

The five-minutes normal refresh should be fine.
