Reccuring Event Problem Empty Reccuring Event Problem

So, each time I command the program to remember that I have "meditation wednesday at 7:00 pm repeats weekly for 8 weeks" it displays the event on both wednesday and today for some reason. Meditation is not on today's menu, why does it appear there? Now, I tried to change different variables to see if it changes anything and whenever I input the same command but instead of 7:00 pm I put any time before noon (so it's am not pm), it correctly only shows the event in the Wednesday slot, which is what I want. I dunno if I make sense or not, but help No !
