Due time/date entry doesn't work

I've got I Forgot the Milk installed on two separate Windows 7 machines and they seems to work fine for the most part; they sync up with RTM, task names and priorities enter fine...but no variation of due time or date I enter ever works. I've tried all variations of the sample formats and they never register - the tasks always show up as "No due". What needs to happen to make this work?
